The thema is a "Kango" trading in about 1400 AD. It's between China and Japan. Each player is one of the merchant in Japan. They collect the items for the outgoing to China in Japan, and take the ship. Then they trade with the Chinese mercaht. Of course, the object is the trading and collecting the chinese items. So they don't need to go Beijing. The player can only collect the items that he/she want. The winner is the player that collect more chinese items and more kinds. All players play as each phase. In phase.1, each player take the three cubes from the bag. This cube is the Japanese items. However it's not own. In phase.2, the turn player is suggested from other players as the two cubes from the drawn three cubes by each player. The turn player indicates one player, and receives the two cubes. They are placed on the front. Then the next turn player is the indicated player. The turn is continued until all player is out from the hands, as the player that suggest has only one cube, the player suggest one cube. In phase.3, the players select the ship. Each ship is drawn the number. It's the distance the ship can go. The high quarity ship can go 9 cards. So the ship load is made by the cards of the chinese item. There are one or two cubes with each cards. The ship can go on the cards. For example, the player take the "6" ship, and can select one or more of 6 cards. And the player pays the cubes of the same kinds with the card. The player take the card in the front. The players need the plan for the collection. However the cubes are suggested from the other players. So the belief is very important as the real business. |
